Course description

The course introduces the technique and practice of ringing church bells and introduces the duties of an altar boy or ponomar in various church services. The course is intended for paid and volunteer employees of parishes who assist in church services, as well as anyone interested in the subject. The course begins on April 10th, the previous night's accommodation is included in the course price, and any meals on April 9th will be paid at Trapesa at normal prices. The teachers are musician Vladimir Belov and caretaker Eero Hyvärinen, as well as a member of the Valamo Monastery. The course is supported by the Finnish Orthodox Church.
