The Gospels are recorded narratives of how God, Jesus Christ, having become human, lived and worked on earth, and how He suffered, died, and rose from the dead as the conqueror of death. The ideas presented in the book emerge from the themes of the ecclesiastical year's gospel texts and feasts. The text progresses through the ecclesiastical year from Easter to Easter.
