Course description

Every person wants to experience their life as meaningful. It is the experience of being truly themselves and feeling alive, even if there are twists and turns and setbacks in everyday life. Meaningfulness creates enthusiasm, joy and shades and colors to life. In the midst of difficulties, it helps to cope and supports. Outwardly, it is often reflected as courage, creativity and depth. A meaningful life is a life well lived. This course will stop to reflect on where you could find more meaning in your own life. It offers the opportunity to realize, understand, get excited and look at your own life from new, different perspectives. The goal is not just to know what meaning is, but to live more meaningfully. In a warm and encouraging atmosphere, the skills, insights and thoughts that support this are built. In the course, everyone is an expert in their own life and everyone's individuality is cherished with appreciation. It is from this individuality that genuine, new meaning can arise. The course begins on May 15th, the previous night's accommodation is included in the course price, any meals on May 14th will be paid for at Trapesa at normal prices. The teacher is philosopher, non-fiction writer and mental health expert Samuel Salovuori.

Teacher

Salovuori Samuel

I am Samuel Salovuori, a philosopher, theologian and non-fiction writer by background. I worked for a long time at Mieli ry in various expert positions. I train, lecture and hold various courses on themes that I have found to be relevant in my own life. By nature, I am humorous, gentle, enthusiastic and enjoy joint reflections. I gain strength from encounters and discussions where everyone gets the opportunity to stop and reflect on their own experience and path. Building a warm and benevolent atmosphere is important to me. There is no need to take pressure from prior knowledge. The most important thing is curiosity, the desire to stop and the ability to listen to yourself and others. Even in a few days, you can realize and discover something new about your own life. Something that makes you look at everyday life and yourself in a new way.
