Course description

The icon course is suitable for those who have basic icon painting skills and have already painted a few icons. The subject to be painted in the course is chosen according to the painter's starting level and is painted using the traditional egg tempera technique on a pre-primed icon board.   If desired, the background or halo of the icon can be gilded and it is also possible to learn how to use assist gilding, e.g. in the halo reduction of clothes or wings. We will go through the content and theology of the icon subjects together during the course.
