The Skolts, or Skolt Sámi, are an ethnic group of the indigenous Sámi people in Finnish Lapland, Norway, and the Kola Peninsula in Russia.

The weekend offers an overview of the culture, history, and traditions of the Skolt Sámi. During the weekend, we will feast on Skolt Sámi cuisine and enjoy a diverse program that includes fascinating lectures, enchanting music and dance performances, and an interesting panel discussion. The event brings together participants from both the north and the south, and we will also have Norwegian partners from across the border as guests.
