The traditional procession of the icon of the Mother of God of Konevitsa from Valamo to Lintula will be held this year both on foot and by boat.

In Valamo, the day will begin at 6:00 with a liturgy. After this, walkers will set off towards Lintula at 8:15.

From Valamo to Lintula and back you can travel by M/S Sergei ship or by Monastery Taxi.

Departure from Valamo pier at 10:00 and return at approximately 15:30 after the Akathist service.

Departure from Valamo at 10 am, arrival in Lintula around 10.30 am.

Return from Lintula around 4.30 pm, arrival in Valamo around 5.00 pm.

The cruise and monastery tax are paid to the monastery reception.

Please also notify us if you are participating in the procession on foot.

In Lintula there will be a prayer time at around 13:00 and the opportunity to eat (optional payment in cash).

After the meal, an akathist will be delivered to the Mother of God at around 14:30 in Lintula Church.

Exceptionally, in Valamo there will be no There will be a moleben during the day and no evening service in the evening, which will be held in the procession on the return journey (by ship).
