VALAMO BLINI EVENING

Valamo Monastery invites you to enjoy an authentic and hearty blini evening – just as blinis are meant to be enjoyed.

During the evening, warm, traditional blinis will be served to the tables as much as you can eat, accompanied by classic and carefully prepared side dishes. The Valamo blini evening is a leisurely and generous event, where you can focus on good food, atmosphere and togetherness.

Valamo's unique monastery environment and peaceful atmosphere create the perfect setting for an evening where food and culture go hand in hand.

The evening's program is provided by Pajojoukko Bratanat, a Karelian-language vocal ensemble whose music combines different Karelian language forms and diverse folk music from poetic songs to contemporary folk. Live music brings warmth, depth and a touch of Karelian soul to the evening.
