Welcome to Valamo Monastery to celebrate the Book and Rose Day and experience the joy of the Easter season! This bright week-long event offers an interesting program in the beautiful monastery environment.

Program:

10:00 Welcome from the monastery's director, Archimandrite Mikael, and news about the monastery, Cultural Center Hall

 10:30 Self-guided tour of the "Heavenly Light" and "Angel Moments" exhibitions, as well as the monastery museum and library (12€/person)

12:00 Lunch, Trapesa restaurant (16€/person)

13:00 Presentation of the miracle-working icons of the main church, cloak-bearer monk Stefanos

13:30 Opportunity to ring the Valamo church bells

14:00-16:00 Metropolitan Panteleimon talks about his new book "Jussi Rannan tapaus" and his work as a writer, Cultural Center Hall

16:00-17:00 Opportunity to ring the Valamo church bells
