Holy Week and Easter are the deepest and most beautiful times of the year at the Valaam Monastery. The monastery's divine services, quiet prayer life, and the awakening of spring nature create a unique environment for stillness and inner peace. Day visitors are warmly welcome to participate in the prayer times of the celebration and enjoy the hospitality offered by the monastery.

Guided tour and concert
If you want to deepen your knowledge of the history and spiritual tradition of Valamo, you can participate in a guided tour on Saturday.
The tour will be held Sat 4.4. at 15:00-16:15. Price 10€/adults, 5€/children. Tickets can be purchased at the reception and the tour starts in front of the reception.
On Easter Day Sunday 5.4. at 16:00, the Easter concert "Christ the Light of Light" will be held in the hall of the Cultural Center: Sari Saarinen violin, vocals; Antti Saarinen double bass, guitar
