Easter sale at Valamo Monastery on Saturday, March 28, 2026
Valamo Monastery will organize an Easter sale on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Cultural Center hall. The event offers a comfortable setting for both vendors and visitors.
We want to support craftsmen, artists and local producers – our partners. Therefore, the sales point is free of charge for participants.
The new Rudolf Koivu ‑ Fairytale Illustrator art exhibition will also open on the same day, which will bring many culture lovers to Valamo during the day and increase the visibility of the sellers.

The exhibition is open on the opening day from 3-6 p.m. (invited guests from 14-15). Admission €12 / adult. Free for under 18s. The same ticket also includes admission to the monastery museum.

11:00-15:00 A buffet is available at the Trapesa restaurant (€16 / person)
12:00 Moleben, opportunity to participate in a prayer service in the monastery's main church
15:00-17:30 A Valamo tea table is set in an atmospheric setting at the Trapesa restaurant (€15 / person)
The Trapesa restaurant, Tuohus shop and wine shop are open until 18:00.
At 6:00 PMOpportunity to participate in the vigil service in the monastery's main church. The service will include the blessing of the vigil staffs.
Reserve your own sales space in advance!
In addition to a sales space, vendors can reserve a sales table and chair free of charge. The table size is 60 cm x 140 cm.

Please state your key sales items in a message or by phone, as vendor selections are made based on the product offering. Please note that there are no flea market products at the Easter sales, but we hope for new or self-made products that fit the theme.
