Valamo Book Club offers the opportunity to acquire new Orthodox literature

Orthodox literature has a large readership in Finland, regardless of denomination. One of the most significant publishers is Valamo Monastery, which has published over a hundred works since 1970.

The Valamo Publishing House book club offers its members the opportunity to purchase new Orthodox literature mailed to their homes and at discounted prices. Members can also order previously published books at the member price, i.e. 30 percent cheaper than the normal price. Membership in the club does not oblige you to buy anything and you can cancel your membership at any time. Book club members receive notifications of new book club publications (3-4 books per year) via email newsletter (for those who do not have access to email, the newsletter is sent as a paper letter). The book can then be ordered at the member price in the online store or by phone (044 4259 222). Payment is made in the online store when ordering or as an advance payment for orders placed by phone. Fixed delivery costs 8 euros/shipment, orders over 100 euros free of delivery.

In addition, book club members receive a 30% discount on the regular price of Valamo Monastery's own publications (including the book club's new member books), a 15% discount on the regular price of publications from other publishers, and a 10% discount on regular-priced products from the souvenir shop Tuohus and the online store (the discount does not apply to alcohol, Tuohus, stamps, or net-priced products). In the online store, the discount is automatically applied when you place an order as a logged-in user. When shopping in the store, remember to mention your book club membership as soon as you reach the checkout; the discount cannot be granted afterwards.
