Winery and wine shop

The wine shop located in connection with the Valamo Monastery offers tourists the best local Finnish wines.

The trained and knowledgeable staff of the wine shop will be happy to guide you in all wine-related questions. Although sparkling wines and wines are very suitable to be enjoyed on their own, wine or sparkling wine enjoyed with good food offers a new kind of taste experience.
The Valamo Monastery wine shop is open during the monastery reception opening hours.

GUIDED WINERY TOURS FOR GROUPS

The visit introduces you to the production of wine and/or distillates and tastes the monastery's own products in a cozy wine room.
For groups of at least 8 people, by reservation.

WINE TOUR - duration 1 hour. Tasting three monastery wines. Maximum group size 40 people.

WHISKY PRESENTATION - duration 1 hour. Tasting two monastery whiskeys. Maximum group size 20 people.

WINE AND WHISKY PRESENTATION - duration 1.5 hours. Tasting two wines and one whiskey. Maximum group size 20 people.

WINE ROOM

In the summer, guests are served by the atmospheric wine room located next to the winery.

The wine room is open from 25.6. -16.8.2025 Wed-Sat from 6-10 pm.
