A peaceful sleep awaits you in the asceticism of guesthouses, in a peaceful monastery hotel or in a college hotel. Accommodation in winter is cheaper than in summer. All room rates include breakfast from the buffet.

The monastery also houses the Valamo College; a meeting place for education, culture and growth open to all. The monastery offers a unique working peace for studying, complemented by the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding nature.

If you wish, you can also participate in daily church services at Valamo. The services are open to everyone. You can also come to the church for just a moment to pray, both during services and during other church opening hours.

Easter, or the feast of the Resurrection of Christ, is the main feast of the Orthodox church year, the feast of feasts. During Easter, accommodation is sold as full-board packages, the prices of which include not only accommodation but also meals and other programs related to the feast.

The monastery's 260-seat café-restaurant Trapesa is one of the monastery's most important meeting places. The restaurant offers daily home-cooked meals from a buffet. In addition, coffee, tea and snacks are available all day long. The monastery's monk coffees are already a concept. In July, the atmosphere is complemented by a Valamo tea table.
