Iconpainting for young people
Special price: €300 / hotel-quality room with shared bathroom or single room in the guesthouse, including tuition, accommodation, and meals according to the program. No further discounts.
Do you like religion, history and art? Then this is the course for you! We’ll paint an icon using egg tempera and genuine natural pigments. No previous experience is needed — you’re welcome even if you’ve painted icons before. The course is for young people aged 14–20. Kata has been teaching a youth icon painting group in Espoo since 2015. The course fee includes paints, brushes and one icon board. Instruction can also be provided in Swedish or English if needed. The teacher is icon painter Katarina Koskivaara-Ilmonen. The course is supported by the Finnish Orthodox Church. Tip: this makes a fun and unique gift for a young person!
