Jaakonaho Asko

I am Asko Jaakonaho, a freelance writer living in Tampere. My historical novels are based on real-life individuals. My debut novel, Onnemme tiellä, is set in Heinävesi, near Valamo Monastery. Valamo offers a stimulating environment for writing course participants to focus. The goal of my courses is a conversational and inspiring atmosphere. I bring my own experiences and observations about a writer's work into the discussions. I hope that course participants will discover new perspectives and tools for their own writing.
