Valamo monastery is open to visitors around the year

During your visit you have the choice of participating in divine services in the church. The icons in the churches, as well as the exhibitions provide a unique art experience. The monastery restaurant Trapesa offers a buffet style lunch and the monastery store is an ideal place to purchase something to take back home as as gift or as a memory of your visit to the monastery.

A day visit to the monastery is an experience, but more and more visitors prefer to deepen their experience by staying overnight in the peace of the monastery.
