VALAMO BLINI EVENING

Valamo Monastery invites you to enjoy an authentic and plentiful blini evening – just as blinis are meant to be enjoyed.

During the evening, warm, traditional blinis will be served to tables as much as you can eat, along with classic and carefully prepared accompaniments. The Valamo Blini Evening is an unhurried and abundant experience, where you can focus on good food, atmosphere, and togetherness.

Valamo's unique monastery environment and peaceful atmosphere create the perfect setting for an evening where food and culture go hand in hand.

The evening's program is provided by Pajojoukko Bratanat, a Karelian-speaking vocal ensemble whose music brings together different Karelian language forms and diverse folk music from runo-singing to contemporary folk. Live music brings warmth, depth, and a touch of the Karelian soul to the evening.
