Summer chapel liturgies in Valamo Monastery

For several years now, chapel liturgies have been celebrated in the chapels of the Valamo Monastery area during the summers – at least once a summer in each chapel. This beautiful tradition continues this year.

The following liturgies will be celebrated:

Mon 11.5. at 8 AM
at St. Nicholas Chapel (shore chapel)

Fri 22.5. at 8 AM
at Herman of Alaska's Chapel (at the Cemetery)
This liturgy will be celebrated mainly in Karelian

Wed 17.6. at 8 AM
at John the Baptist's Chapel (at the Cemetery)

Wed 22.7. at 8 AM
at St. Seraphim of Sarov Chapel

Fri 14.8.
on Friday, August 14, an additional liturgy will be celebrated at St. Nicholas Chapel, i.e., the so-called shore chapel, at 8 AM. Other services as previously announced.

Mon 21.9. at 8:00 AM
at Herman of Alaska's Chapel (at the Cemetery)
