Welcome to celebrate a day of Georgian culture, spirituality and music at Valamo Monastery!

During the day, we will explore Georgia's rich history, spiritual heritage, and vibrant culture through expert lectures, music, icon art, and culinary experiences.

Speaking about Georgia and its traditions are Bishop Sergei of Hamina, Associate Professor of Church Music Maria Takala-Roszczenko, and Doctor of Theology Juha Riikonen.

During the day, Georgian music will also be heard, performed by the Tevri Ensemble, a Georgian-style coffee break will be enjoyed, and at the end of the day, guests will gather for an atmospheric Georgian dinner.

Come experience Georgia's warmth, beauty, and spiritual heritage in Valamo's unique environment.

The program is hosted by author Annina Holmberg. Lectures and the music program are held in the Cultural Center Hall. Divine Services are held in the Monastery's main church.

Meals and non-alcoholic beverages mentioned in the program are included in the event package. Refreshments are served at the cafe-restaurant Trapesa.
