Day trip to the monastery

Welcome to an interesting excursion to the Valamo Monastery, which includes culture, shopping and delicacies from the Trapesa restaurant. If you wish, you can also stay overnight at the monastery. The Heavenly Light and Angelic Moments exhibitions are open until December 31, 2025. Rudolf Koivu - Fairytale Illustrator exhibition in Valamo March 28 - December 31, 2026.

Contents of the day trip:
• Guided tour of the monastery, where you will get to know the main church and the old church as well as the history and present day of the monastery
• Exploring the exhibitions on your own
• Buffet meals at the Trapesa restaurant
• Coffees with sweets at the Trapesa restaurant
• Time for shopping in the wine and souvenir shop and at the Trapesa; pastries, books, music, delicacies and much more

Additional services include a wine tour, a monk's question and answer session and a Valamo tea table, as well as a canal cruise on the M/S Sergei ship in the summer.
