Day trip to the monastery

Welcome to an interesting excursion to the Valamo Monastery, which includes culture, shopping and the delicacies of the Trapesa restaurant. If you wish, you can also stay overnight at the monastery. Rudolf Koivu - Fairytale Illustrator exhibition in Valamo 29.3. -31.12.2026.

Contents of the day trip:
• Guided tour of the monastery, where you will get to know the main church and the old church as well as the history and present day of the monastery
• Exploring the exhibition and the monastery museum on your own
• Buffet meal at the Trapesa restaurant
• Coffees with either savory or sweet at the Trapesa restaurant
• Time for shopping at the wine and souvenir shop and at the Trapesa; pastries, books, music, delicacies and much more

Additional services include a wine tour, a monk's question and answer session and a Valamo tea table.
