On the course, you will get acquainted with traditional silk and gold embroidery, which is used, for example, in textile icons and for decorating church textiles. The course instructor is craft expert Leena Kuivalainen, who has studied the subject under the guidance of master teachers Nina and Nadeshda Osipova. The course is aimed at those who have previously practiced embroidery. You can also come to the course with an unfinished embroidery project. Course materials can be purchased from the instructor (cash payment). The language of instruction is Finnish.
