Course for Altar Servers 9/2026

Welcome to delve into the duties of an altar server (ponomar) and the worship life of the church! Orthodox service is a harmonious whole, where everyone has their own important place. On this course, we learn how to act in assisting roles during church services. Male participants will practice in Valamo Church and female participants in Lintula Monastery Church. There is a limited number of places, participants are selected based on application. Application form here.
