Icons and Other Art with Various Glass Art Techniques 8/2027

The course is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience in glass work. In flat glass work, using the so-called cold technique, we will study lead came, copper foil, and glass mosaic methods according to the chosen subject, and the possibilities of combining them in the same work. The subject can be an icon or a freely chosen image. Materials can be purchased from the institute. Course instruction begins on August 16th; accommodation for the preceding night is included in the course price, and any meals on August 15th are paid at normal prices at Trapesa. Instructor: iconographer Alexander Wikström. The language of instruction is Finnish.
