What did the early Church thinkers have to say about animals? How did their views appear against the Greek philosophy of the time? What is the place of animals in the Holy Scriptures? What is the relationship between hermits and monastic ascetics and animals? How do the findings of contemporary animal research change the paradigm? What can be said about the religiosity of animals? These questions are explored by Father Serafim Seppälä, who serves as a professor at the University of Eastern Finland. The language of instruction is Finnish.
