The course is intended for everyone who is planning or has already started writing a village book, family history, estate history, or a historical account of association life. During the course, we will go through how to move from an idea, where to get additional information, and what needs to be considered in preparing the book for print and marketing. Also covered will be the society and professional titles of past times, source criticism, conducting interviews, and planning illustrations. During the course, participants can work on their own text and receive feedback on it. Instructor: non-fiction writer Raine Raitio. The language of instruction is Finnish.
