The course helps identify one's strengths as a writer, deepen expression, and discover new ways to write and think. The course is suitable for both experienced writers and beginners. The course is based on a combination of creativity psychology, findings from brain research, and timeless writing traditions and exercises. The course covers the secret of intuition, the secret of self-knowledge, the secret of curiosity, the secret of courage, the secret of perspectives, the secret of presence, the secret of flow, and the secret of one's own voice. The work takes place in an encouraging, safe, and inspiring atmosphere. On the course, creative and easily approachable writing exercises will be done, writing will be discussed, and each participant will seek their own way of writing. The course includes instruction, writing exercises, group discussions, and the opportunity to share one's own texts if desired. Instructor: MA, author, and writing trainer Mertzi Bergman. She has over 25 years of experience guiding writers and coaching creativity. Bergman has published works such as Asiantuntijasta oppimisen mestariksi (Alma Talent) and Uteliaisuus – opas työn, johtamisen ja muutoksen supervoimaan (Basam Books). She also performs as a spoken word poet under the name Vapaaentiteetti. Bergman is known for her inspiring and insightful teaching style. The language of instruction is Finnish.
