Accomodation

The Monastery Hotel has a selection of single, twin and triple rooms. Two of the rooms have facilities for disabled guests and one room is available for guests staying with pets. All rooms are non-smoking and have either shared or private bathroom facilities. Some rooms have access to Wi-Fi, which is free of charge. None of the rooms have television or radio. 

The Small Hotel next to the Monastery Hotel building can also accommodate with a pet. In Small Hotel there is 6 single cell rooms, shower / toilet in the corridor. Guests traveling with a pet are kindly requested to contact reception prior to arrival. Rooms have an electric kettle and tea and coffee. Valamo's wireless wi-fi network is in use.

All accommodation rooms in Valamo Lay Academy hotel have private bathrooms. 

The modest guest houses provide basic rooms for guests. The guest houses are located as two separate buildings, one of which used to serve as the monks' living quarters and the other one as the monastery’s coach storehouse. All the rooms in the guest houses are simple and have shared bathroom facilities located along the corridors.

Monastery saunas are also available to guests on request. The favorite on summer time is the lakeside sauna for 7-8 persons. Hotel's sauna is for 7 persons and Folk High school's sauna for 10 persons. Both male and female guests have an open sauna on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the hotel's sauna.
