Valamo's Book Club offers the opportunity to acquire new Orthodox literature

Orthodox literature has a large readership in Finland, regardless of denomination. One of the most significant publishers is Valamo Monastery, which has released over a hundred works since 1970.

Valamo Publishing's Book Club offers its members the opportunity to acquire new Orthodox literature mailed home at reduced prices. Members can also order previously published books at a member price, which is 30 percent cheaper than the regular price. Membership in the club does not oblige one to purchase anything, and membership can be cancelled at any time. Book Club members receive notifications of new Book Club publications (3-4 books per year) as a newsletter by email (for those without email, the newsletter is sent as a paper letter). Books can then be ordered at the member price in the online store or by phone (044 4259 222). Payment is made in the online store at the time of order or as advance payment for orders made by phone. Fixed delivery costs are 8 €/shipment, orders over 100 € are free of delivery costs.

In addition, Book Club members receive a 30% discount off the regular price of Valamo Monastery's own publications (including new Book Club member books), a 15% discount off the regular price of publications from other publishers, and a 10% discount off regularly priced products at the Tuohus souvenir shop and the online store (the discount does not apply to alcohol, tuohus candles, stamps, or net-priced products). In the online store, the discount is applied automatically when you place an order as a logged-in user. When shopping in the store, remember to mention your Book Club membership immediately upon reaching the checkout, as the discount cannot be granted retroactively.

The contact information you provide will be stored in the book club's membership register for the duration of your membership. If necessary, we will retain the information longer.
