The course is intended for older pilgrims from parishes, those retired or on the verge of retirement. The program includes singing, lectures, outdoor activities, and relaxed companionship. The highlight of the days is participation in the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos on 8.9. The course receives support from the Orthodox Church of Finland. The language of instruction is Finnish.

Luggage is left on the bus or in the monastery's luggage storage. Room keys are distributed at the cultural center at 16:30, when travel cards are also filled out and collected.
