"Oh, living flame of love, that tenderly woundest my soul in its deepest centre!" – Saint John of the Cross (1542–1591).

The course delves deeper into spiritual life and questions of spiritual life, meditative prayer, and Christian mysticism. The goal is to increase awareness of the spiritual growth process, consider how questions related to personality and well-being connect with spiritual life, learn new ways to contemplatively deepen one's relationship with God, and share thoughts and experience spiritual connection with others. The course is suitable for anyone interested in spiritual and religious questions who wants to strengthen and diversify their own spiritual life. Themes include various methods of meditative and contemplative prayer (centering prayer, Lectio Divina Bible meditation, welcoming prayer), well-being and spirituality, challenges in spiritual life, and a contemplative lifestyle. The instructor is Pastor (Evangelical Lutheran), Master of Theology Henri Järvinen. The language of instruction is Finnish.
