Welcome to learn how to build a traditional fence! The course covers all stages of traditional fence material preparation and fence erection. We will collect spruce saplings, split withes for binding, prepare fence posts and rails, and sharpen vertical stakes, which will also be charred. Finally, we will select the fence materials for construction and erect the traditional fence together. The traditional fence created as a course project will permanently form part of the monastery's surroundings. The traditional fence is built at the monastery for the sheep pastures. The course instructor is the monastery's monk Rafael, who is responsible for the care of the sheep, and the construction and maintenance of pasture fences at the monastery. He learned traditional fence building on site at the monastery with the guidance of traditional fence masters, through hard work and toil!

ePassi can be used for payment on this course.
