Overnight trip for groups

Welcome to an interesting excursion to the Valamo Monastery!

You can best experience the atmosphere and silence of the monastery by staying overnight or longer. There are several options of different levels available throughout the year: ascetic guesthouses complement the room selection of the monastery hotel and the college hotel.

The program of the overnight excursion includes culture, shopping, the atmosphere of the Wine Tavern and the delicacies of Trapesa. The Heavenly Light and Angelic Moments exhibitions are open until 31.12.2025. Rudolf Koivu - Fairytale Illustrator - exhibition in Valamo on 28.3. -31.12.2026.

Highlights of the tour:
• Guided tour of the monastery, where you will get to know the main church and the old church, as well as the history and present day of the monastery
• Exploring the exhibitions on your own
• Buffet meals at the Trapesa restaurant
• During a visit to the Viinituva atmosphere, you will hear the story of the winery and get a taste of the monastery's production
• Time for shopping in the wine and souvenir shop and in Trapesa; pastries, books, music, delicacies and much more
• The Valamo tea table is a modern version of the Russian tea table developed with respect for tradition.

The overnight trip includes a guided monastery tour, exhibitions, buffet meals, a wine tour, a Valamo tea table in the evening, as well as accommodation and monastery breakfast.

The contents of the packages can be modified according to the group's wishes.
