Meeting Facilities

• There are space options ranging from group work rooms for 5-15 people and meeting rooms for 60 people, up to a conference hall with 300 seats.
• In addition to quiet and bright facilities, customers have access to the services of a competent meeting organizer, AV equipment, and Wi-Fi. A grand piano is also available in the Cultural Center.

Dining

• Café-Restaurant Trapesa is a 260-seat restaurant with full liquor license.
• Daily meals – breakfasts, lunches, and dinners – are served from a home-style buffet. In addition, coffee, tea, and small snacks are available throughout the day.
• For groups, several festive meal packages and private rooms for different-sized groups are available by order.

Program for a Monastery Visit

• Lectures and monk's Q&A session. Lectures on Orthodoxy and monastic life, among other topics.
• Guided tours can, for example, be directed to the monastery courtyard, the winery, the sheep pastures, or the Monastery Cemetery.
• Visit to the Monastery Museum or art exhibition
• Nature trails and routes of various lengths run through the monastery's forests and surroundings.

• The monastery's divine services are open to everyone.

• The monastery saunas are also available for guests by order. A summer favorite is the lakeside sauna, which can accommodate about 7-8 people at a time.
• Valamo Monastery Shop Tuohus serves guests daily from morning to evening. The wine shop offers travelers the best local domestic wines.

• Several accommodation options of varying standards are available throughout the year. The room selection of the Monastery Hotel and Institute Hotel is complemented by ascetic guesthouses.
• All accommodation facilities are non-smoking and peaceful, without televisions or radios, to support rest and contemplation during your visit. Monastery breakfast is always included with accommodation.
