Explore the rich culture and magnificent landscapes of Eastern Finland. This trip takes you from the peace of Valamo Monastery to the relaxation of Bomba Spa and all the way to the idyllic landscapes of Parppeinvaara poetry village and Karelian delicacies.

Program:

Day 1

• Welcome to Valamo Monastery. Accommodation and dinner at Restaurant Trapesa.

Day 2

• Guided tour of Valamo Monastery and Exhibitions. Lunch in Valamo.
  Transfer from Valamo to Joensuu.
• Presentation of Joensuu Orthodox Cultural Quarter and coffee at Restaurant Elias.
  Journey from Joensuu to Nurmes.
• Bomba, accommodation at the Spa Hotel. Spa.
• Dinner at the Spa restaurant or Bomba restaurant.

Day 3

• Breakfast. Presentation of Bomba and the chapel.
  Journey to Lieksa.
• Visit to the magnificent Pielinen Museum.
• Lunch at Hotel Puustelli. Journey to Ilomantsi.
• Visit to Parppeinvaara poetry village.
• Karelian pastry coffee at Parppeinpirtti. Journey from Ilomantsi to Joensuu.
• Overnight stay at Hotel Lietsu.

Day 4

• Breakfast.
• Visit to Joensuu market square and the Taitokortteli craft quarter beside it.

Homeward bound.

Price: Starting from 470€/person/3 nights, 4 days.
