JOENSUU - HEINÄVESI - RÄÄKKYLÄ

Our program proposal:

Day #01:

• Arrival at Villa Ruusula in Rääkkylä and accommodation
• Karelian pie workshop, Karelian soup lunch or sapuska, kantele master in an hour workshop and concert, Karelian dinner and sauna

Day #02:

• Breakfast at Villa Ruusula and departure to the Valamo Monastery in Heinävesi
• Guided monastery tour, introduction to the monastery museum and exhibition, lunch from the buffet, wine tour and tastings, shopping in the store, and departure coffee
• Transfer to Joensuu at the Lietsu Apartment Hotel and accommodation
• Information about Karelian food traditions and a Karelian dinner

Day #03:

• Karelian breakfast at the Lietsu Apartment Hotel
• Exploration of the North Karelian Museum Hilma, a tour of the Taitokortteli and a soup lunch, departure for home
