The holy face is the essence of every icon. There are numerous methods for lightening faces, although it may not be possible to analyze from the finished result how the icon, as an image of light, grows visible from shadow to light. During the course, we will delve into four different lightening techniques through theory and step-by-step exercises; this way, you will find the method best suited for you. Alongside the lightening exercise series, you can paint your actual icon. The course is best suited for both those who have painted little and those who have progressed further.
