The course is best suited for those who master the basics of icon painting and tempera technique. The subject of the icon to be painted is freely chosen, according to the student's initial skill level. Alongside practical painting work and instruction, we will go through the theology of the content of the chosen icon subjects. Instruction for the course begins on 20.10., accommodation for the previous night is included in the course price, any meals on 19.10. are paid at Trapesaan at normal prices. Please note that those under 35 years old receive a 40 percent discount on icon painting courses. The instructor is icon painter Raija Kanninen.
