The course is best suited for those who master the basics of icon painting and tempera technique. The subject of the icon to be painted is optional, according to the student's skill level. Alongside practical painting work and guidance, we will explore the theology of the content of the chosen icon themes. Course instruction begins on October 20th; accommodation for the preceding night is included in the course price, and any meals on October 19th are paid at Trapesa at normal prices. Please note that those under 35 years old receive a 40 percent discount on icon painting course prices. Instructor: icon painter Raija Kanninen. The language of instruction is Finnish.
